With resource consent granted for Levin’s newest retirement village it won’t be long before retirees can opt for a stylish two-bedroom villa amongst the caring, supportive community offered by Enliven.
This latest development will add to the eight retirement villages and 14 rest homes operated by Enliven across the lower North Island.
Up to 59 Enliven villas will be built on the land behind the Levin Home for War Veterans. The first 10 are due for completion in late 2022.
The proximity to the existing home means the new village will expand the range of positive ageing services for retirees. If there comes a time village residents need extra support, they will have priority entry to Enliven’s Levin War Veterans Home when there is availability.
Presbyterian Support Central Chief Executive Joe Asghar says it’s an exciting time for Enliven and the Levin community.
“For Enliven this is much more than building a few houses. Levin has experienced significant growth and development in the last few years; and we’re excited to be offering retirees an outstanding lifestyle option in the district.”
The design of the Levin villas will be very similar to those created for Enliven’s Kandahar Village in Masterton with easy accessibility and spacious open plan living. The décor will be sleek and contemporary and most of all comfortable and cosy.
