At Enliven’s Willard Home you’ll immediately feel right at home.
The friendly and welcoming Willard Home exudes warmth and homeliness.
Willard Home has strong community connections and the sound of children’s laughter often fills the halls – that’s because the home has strong ties with the neighbouring school and nearby childcare centre.
At Willard Home we embrace Enliven’s philosophy of care. That means we’ll take every opportunity to make sure you have companionship, spontaneity, fun, meaningful activity and a sense of purpose in your life here.
Residents enjoy the truly homely feel of Willard Home.
Like any family home, there are lots of shared spaces, including the lounges and extensive gardens. Residents use these spaces whenever they like, to socialise, read, do activities and host visitors. You’ll often find avid conversations happening in the shared spaces!
At Willard Home you are invited to set up your room just how you like it. We encourage residents to bring along their own familiar things that make them feel at home. Many residents bring items such as photographs, artwork, ornaments, bed covers and even favourite pieces of furniture.
Outdoor living at Willard Home.
Willard Home is a perfect spot for everyone who loves a spot of gardening or even soaking up nature’s energy by simply sitting in the garden.
The residents of this Palmerston North home open opened their very own community garden in November 2018.
The garden boasts large lawns, smooth paths for easy access, raised vegetable and flower beds, established trees, a compost system, a children’s garden, a greenhouse for raising seedlings and even a chicken coop shared by the neighbouring school.
Residents enjoy spending time in the garden, picking flowers for the home and harvesting vegetables to eat and gift to the community.
