Personal details

Enliven Central’s Coombrae Home is vibrant and welcoming.

Rata Haven dementia care.

Coombrae Home’s dementia cottage is known as Rātā – named after one of New Zealand’s most loved native trees. Known as New Zealand’s native Christmas trees for many, Pohutukawa and Rātā trigger memories of long summer days spent with friends and family.

At Coombrae Home, we understand that the experience of dementia can be distressing. We do all we can to support elders with dementia to remain connected to the world around them.

Our unique and practical approach to dementia care supports us to interact with residents in a way that keeps them connected to the world around them. It often results in improvement in language, memory, self-esteem and social interactions.
