Enliven homes respond to RSV

As many of you would have heard, the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is spreading across young people in our region, mainly affecting children under the age of 12.

To help keep our residents safe, from today – Monday 12 July 2021 – there will be a restriction to visits into all our Enliven homes and retirement villages for any children under the age of 12.

We would also encourage residents going out of the home to visit family to do so with caution if the visits include interacting with children under the age of 12. Residents, please consider wearing a face mask when out and keep up a high level of hygiene under these circumstances.

This restriction will be kept in place until we receive further advice from Regional Public Health.

Thank you for your understanding during this time.
